The Finance and Administrative Services (FAS) department manages business licenses, taxes, the animal shelter, and city assets. Specifically, the Seattle Animal Shelter is part of FAS. Acting as the city's primary animal control, they process licensing, adoption records, and dispatch tracking for field officers.

These records are stored on centralized Windows-based machines provisioned by Seattle IT. If a localized database fails or a dispatch machine crashes, it can severely disrupt the shelter's operational capacity and animal tracking metrics.

Seattle Data Recovery handles these specialized municipal failures. Our team is now headquartered in the UW Medicine Building in Ballard. Because professional data recovery requires professional spacing, our advanced post-graduate lab is equipped to retrieve and reconstruct the vital administrative and dispatch data required to keep the Seattle Animal Shelter running.

Critical Notice: Physical Damage & Hardware Policy

Please be advised that ANY damage that is physical or mechanical in nature requires additional parts and labor.
The baseline mechanical recovery rate covers our cleanroom environment entry, laboratory equipment allocation, and initial micro-engineering setup. Because physical failures require sourcing exact matching donor drives from our global component pipeline to swap out broken read/write head assemblies, seized spindles, or damaged electronics, all components, replacement donor hardware, and extended mechanical bench labor will be billed as additional standalone costs following your diagnosis.
