The City Attorney's Office provides essential legal counsel, prosecutes offenses, and defends the city's legal interests. By definition, the data passing through the Legal Services department is heavily privileged, highly confidential, and legally binding.

While the Seattle Information Technology Department secures the overarching network and provides the standard Windows-based hardware used by city lawyers and paralegals, localized hard drive failures or hardware corruption still pose a severe risk to active caseloads and digital evidence.

Standard tech support is not equipped for the rigorous chain-of-custody and technical demands of legal data retrieval. This is why Seattle Data Recovery has moved its operations to a premier facility at the UW Medicine Building in Ballard. Operating at a post-graduate level, we know that professional data recovery requires professional spacing. Our highly secure Ballard lab ensures that every byte of the City Attorney's sensitive data is recovered with absolute discretion and technical mastery.

Critical Notice: Physical Damage & Hardware Policy

Please be advised that ANY damage that is physical or mechanical in nature requires additional parts and labor.
The baseline mechanical recovery rate covers our cleanroom environment entry, laboratory equipment allocation, and initial micro-engineering setup. Because physical failures require sourcing exact matching donor drives from our global component pipeline to swap out broken read/write head assemblies, seized spindles, or damaged electronics, all components, replacement donor hardware, and extended mechanical bench labor will be billed as additional standalone costs following your diagnosis.
