The Office of Police Accountability (OPA) exercises independent civilian oversight of police misconduct investigations. Because of its sensitive regulatory nature, the OPA handles an enormous volume of classified body-camera footage, internal affairs documents, and privileged witness statements.

This data is highly sensitive and legally binding. Even though Seattle IT provides secure Windows machines and strict network security, physical drive degradation can lock investigators out of essential evidence. A standard repair shop lacks the chain-of-custody protocols required for this level of sensitive data retrieval.

Seattle Data Recovery offers the secure, high-tier intervention required for the OPA. Our operations have completely moved our business referrals and research to the UW Medicine Building in Ballard. Operating at a strict post-graduate level, we know that professional data recovery requires professional spacing. Our highly secure Ballard lab ensures that the OPA's investigative evidence is extracted safely while maintaining absolute operational confidentiality.

Critical Notice: Physical Damage & Hardware Policy

Please be advised that ANY damage that is physical or mechanical in nature requires additional parts and labor.
The baseline mechanical recovery rate covers our cleanroom environment entry, laboratory equipment allocation, and initial micro-engineering setup. Because physical failures require sourcing exact matching donor drives from our global component pipeline to swap out broken read/write head assemblies, seized spindles, or damaged electronics, all components, replacement donor hardware, and extended mechanical bench labor will be billed as additional standalone costs following your diagnosis.
