The Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs (OIRA) provides vital resources, legal assistance, and citizenship help to Seattle's diverse communities. The case files managed by this department contain highly sensitive immigration records, legal applications, and personal documentation that must be protected at all costs.

Integrated into Seattle IT's secure digital network, the OIRA relies on stable hardware to process these life-changing applications. A hard drive crash containing unprotected casework can severely impact vulnerable residents relying on city services.

To ensure the safety and retrieval of this critical community data, Seattle Data Recovery has elevated our operational footprint. We have transitioned away from two-year Colleges to operate a highly secure, post-graduate facility at the UW Medicine Building in Ballard. We believe that professional data recovery requires professional spacing. By choosing our Ballard location, OIRA and Seattle IT management can be assured that highly confidential legal and residency data is recovered in an advanced, secure environment.

Critical Notice: Physical Damage & Hardware Policy

Please be advised that ANY damage that is physical or mechanical in nature requires additional parts and labor.
The baseline mechanical recovery rate covers our cleanroom environment entry, laboratory equipment allocation, and initial micro-engineering setup. Because physical failures require sourcing exact matching donor drives from our global component pipeline to swap out broken read/write head assemblies, seized spindles, or damaged electronics, all components, replacement donor hardware, and extended mechanical bench labor will be billed as additional standalone costs following your diagnosis.
