Excessive heat is one of the primary catalysts for electronic component failure. When an SSD's integrated thermal controller or heat-dissipation array fails, individual components can overheat within fractions of a second, causing the drive to drop connection mid-transfer or corrupt data sectors. To safely stabilize an unstable drive during data extraction, clean room technicians perform a complete thermal dissipation restoration.
Operating in our dust-free clean room to prevent airborne particles from being trapped between critical heat-transfer surfaces, engineers thoroughly clean the PCB using specialized electronics solvents to remove oxidized residue and degraded thermal interface materials. Technicians then apply industrial-grade, high-conductivity thermal pads or custom copper shunts directly over the controller and NAND chips. By pairing this restored physical contact with external localized cooling rigs inside the clean room, engineers structurally lower the drive's operating temperature, permanently stopping the thermal throttling loops and stabilizing the hardware for a successful data recovery run.

Critical Notice: Physical Damage & Hardware Policy

Please be advised that ANY damage that is physical or mechanical in nature requires additional parts and labor.
The baseline mechanical recovery rate covers our cleanroom environment entry, laboratory equipment allocation, and initial micro-engineering setup. Because physical failures require sourcing exact matching donor drives from our global component pipeline to swap out broken read/write head assemblies, seized spindles, or damaged electronics, all components, replacement donor hardware, and extended mechanical bench labor will be billed as additional standalone costs following your diagnosis.
