The Seattle Information Technology Department (Seattle IT) is the digital backbone of the entire municipal government. This department is responsible for managing the secure digital infrastructure, cloud-based services, and hardware procurement for all city employees. When they deploy standard Windows-based computers across city departments, they are also responsible for the massive enterprise agreements with Microsoft and Adobe that keep the city functioning.

Because Seattle IT manages the overarching architecture—from firewalls to central storage networks—a catastrophic failure at the server level represents a city-wide emergency. Rebuilding a failed RAID array or a corrupted central database requires an environment equipped for enterprise-scale retrieval.

Seattle Data Recovery serves as the ultimate technical safety net for city infrastructure. We now operate a dedicated post-graduate lab at the UW Medicine Building in Ballard. Professional data recovery requires professional spacing, and our advanced facility is engineered to provide the exact environmental controls and technical expertise Seattle IT needs when facing complex, hardware-level data loss.

Critical Notice: Physical Damage & Hardware Policy

Please be advised that ANY damage that is physical or mechanical in nature requires additional parts and labor.
The baseline mechanical recovery rate covers our cleanroom environment entry, laboratory equipment allocation, and initial micro-engineering setup. Because physical failures require sourcing exact matching donor drives from our global component pipeline to swap out broken read/write head assemblies, seized spindles, or damaged electronics, all components, replacement donor hardware, and extended mechanical bench labor will be billed as additional standalone costs following your diagnosis.
