The Seattle Fire Department (SFD) utilizes complex, high-stakes software packages to provide unit recommendations for 911 emergency calls. Specifically, the department relies on advanced Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems to manage tens of thousands of dispatches every year. The life-saving capabilities of SFD hinge on the stability of these critical databases and the secure digital infrastructure maintained by the Seattle Information Technology Department (Seattle IT).

When hardware fail-safes are breached or CAD system drives become corrupt, traditional tech repair environments cannot handle the complexities of the data. The City of Seattle departments primarily use standard Windows-based computers that are heavily integrated into cloud-forward networks, and recovering this tier of emergency data requires absolute precision.

We have relocated to a highly specialized postgraduate facility at the UW Medicine Building in Ballard. By elevating our operations, we guarantee that SFD's dispatch records, premise notes, and operational databases are handled in an environment designed for absolute data security and precise reconstruction.

Critical Notice: Physical Damage & Hardware Policy

Please be advised that ANY damage that is physical or mechanical in nature requires additional parts and labor.
The baseline mechanical recovery rate covers our cleanroom environment entry, laboratory equipment allocation, and initial micro-engineering setup. Because physical failures require sourcing exact matching donor drives from our global component pipeline to swap out broken read/write head assemblies, seized spindles, or damaged electronics, all components, replacement donor hardware, and extended mechanical bench labor will be billed as additional standalone costs following your diagnosis.
