We know that dropping off a drive at a busy business center can raise questions. To help put your mind at ease, here are the answers to the most common privacy concerns we hear:

Q: Does the person at the front desk look at my drive? A: Absolutely not. The Regus receptionist is there to assist with the logistics of your appointment. They place your device on a secure, private shelf. They do not have the tools or the authorization to access your hardware.

Q: Do you look at my photos to make sure they are recovered? A: No. We use sector-level verification. We provide a screenshot of the folder structure (the names of your folders) so you can see the recovery was successful. We do not open individual images, videos, or documents.

Q: How long do you keep my data? A: We keep a temporary copy for 30 days as a safety net. If your new drive fails or you lose it within that month, we can give you a fresh copy. On day 31, it is permanently destroyed.

Q: Can I have my data destroyed sooner? A: Yes. If you request it, we will wipe our temporary copy the moment you confirm that you have received your data and it is working correctly.

Q: Do you share my information with Regus? A: No. Regus only receives the basic contact information (Name, Phone, Email) needed to check you in for your appointment. They never see your files, and we never share your data with them.
