Sometimes your TerraMaster NAS is powered on, but it functions essentially as a brick on your desk. Like any network storage device, Asustor NAS systems are susceptible to network glitches and software bugs. When the TerraMaster Operating System (TOS) fails or comes under attack, your team's workflow is completely severed.

You do not need to fight with confusing user interfaces or network protocols; you simply need your business data returned safely.

Operating System Failures and Cyber Threats

  • Proprietary versions of the TerraMaster Operating System (TOS) have historically suffered from security flaws and ransomware attacks, especially when network ports are exposed directly to the internet without strict firewall rules.

  • Users often face issues where the server drops local network connections while the web interface remains accessible.

  • Sometimes, the system disk fills up or the OS daemon fails to launch, resulting in login blocks or the NAS functioning as a brick.

Secure Restoration Services

Whether your device is suffering from an OS daemon failure or a severe ransomware encryption event, we can help. We bypass the unstable TerraMaster Operating System, accessing your storage arrays directly to perform deep logical scans. We locate your unencrypted file fragments, historical backups, and critical databases, safely pulling them out of the compromised environment so you can rebuild your company's network securely.

Critical Notice: Physical Damage & Hardware Policy

Please be advised that ANY damage that is physical or mechanical in nature requires additional parts and labor.
The baseline mechanical recovery rate covers our cleanroom environment entry, laboratory equipment allocation, and initial micro-engineering setup. Because physical failures require sourcing exact matching donor drives from our global component pipeline to swap out broken read/write head assemblies, seized spindles, or damaged electronics, all components, replacement donor hardware, and extended mechanical bench labor will be billed as additional standalone costs following your diagnosis.
